Wild woods leading to the stones.
Nature's bridge
Suddenly cows appeared among the trees
She wondered wtf I was
Caught up with a wandering cat.
Cat didn't really trust me.
Finally the stones
One man claims this is the next huge tourist attraction, a huge place from ancient times. Apparently the soil was almost a yard lower when the stones were risen so many don't show up and some of the ones still showing have fallen, so you can only imagine what it really is meant to be.
Man made sky marks, man made stone marks,
One stone standing.
A big stone laying down.
You can make out the shape.
Cows get to scratch their itches on these stones.
You sure wonder what it was for.
A cow came up to check me out.

http://heimdallsstenar.com/pdf/Heimdalls_stones_at_Vitemolla%20.pdf The amateur archaeologist who named these stones Heimdall's stones wants to see them restored to the way they were put up. Meaning you dig away almost a yard of soil and rise the fallen stones. It would be pretty spectacular and probably a big tourist attraction, also important heritage saved. Can't argue with that, it's a shame it isn't already being done.
Cow turning to say goodbye. It was nice of her.
Pretty with berries.
Blue wings
The blue side of the wings has proven hard to get a shot of, they rarely sit with them open. I tried to find one today for hours but only got shots of the blue showing on flying ones.
Blue upper side.
That is pretty odd, if you want camouflage when flying it ought to be the other way around...the underside blue and the upper side ground-looking.
Typical coast line trees
Blue butterfly
Blues among the blues
The butterfly is probably a Silver Studded Blue
Camouflaging like a flower might be a reason for colourful overside
Another couple of the not so common butterflies
although they've been quiet common this summer
The mating butterflies are near invisible seen from above where they sit on the straw.
One more butterfly
Phallos
The phallos symbol the arkeoastronomist http://www.heimdallsstenar.com finds remarkable. Apparently proof Bronze Age people had contact with Phonecia. Two stones and a hotrod. Guess the stone circles also can be seen as fertility symbols. There's two omega signs carved in a nearby grave as well, further proof of contact with the Greek.
I like that stone.
I think it looks like a whale.
